I wanted to encourage you about what God’s been doing at E.ON!
E.ON in the UK jumped into National Inclusion Week with both feet.  They organised a set of inclusion stalls for their staff at two of the three largest offices, buying banners for each of the groups.  They also bought 100 branded lanyards each for the Christian Network and another couple.

We had 15 people join the network that week, as well as giving away 30 new testaments, and 50 Why Jesus, and 50 lanyards.  Before these events, we were averaging 4-6 at each of our twice-weekly Christian Network Teams calls and now we’re regularly 10.  And last week we invited Simon Greathead along from Jaguar LandRover Christian Network to be our guest speaker and 27 people joined the call (a record of 100%).

We are now planning a 2-hour Teams Christian Network conference for the end of November, which Doug Johnson (leader of the EY Christian Network) will be speaking at and we have offers of branded clothing from E.ON Group in Germany.

E.ON deserves a lot of credit for the support they have been giving the Christian Network – through organising the sets of stalls for all the inclusion groups, buying us lanyards and the Christian Network banner (they are now buying Christian Network colleagues branded polo shirts!), supporting the Network leadership through regular calls and advice, and creating the conditions in the organisation where colleagues feel they have permission to bring their whole self (including their faith) into work.

God has decided to move wonderfully within E.ON and we are seeing colleagues seriously exploring faith in Jesus (cue another Alpha course in January) and becoming brighter for Jesus.

Do pray that God’s kingdom would continue to come here, and that we as a leadership group would continue to stay pure, passionate for Jesus, visionary and united.
