Easter Workplace Witness Report 2024 

WOW - it's been amazing to discover so many brilliant activities and initiatives from Christian Workplace Groups who with permission from management have shared the Good News of Jesus with all staff whatever faith or non faith. As we live in a multicultural society, where people are allowed to practice their choice of faith, belief or religion, it is a wonderful opportunity for Christians to explain what the Christian faith is all about and to break down any stereotypes.

The message of Easter is that Jesus, God's Son, came into the world to show people who Father God is and that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. That whilst we were all still sinners Christ Jesus died for us so we can have our sins forgiven, a restored relationship with God and be empowered by Holy Spirit. Wow, what amazing news.

Aviva Insurance paid for thousands of hot cross buns to be toasted and given out by the Christian group members to celebrate. It looks like loads of fun was had as the team also dressed up in Easter costumes too!

Jaguar Land Rover had a stand in their main atrium for the week as well as booking a room for worship. It was a powerful and exciting time in the presence of Jesus together.

One individual received permission from her manager to put up a poster on the notice board of the hospital she works in. Encouraged by her manager she also put leaflets on the staff room table explaining the Gospel message for any colleagues that would like to learn more about the Christian Faith. And is now keen to start a Christian Group as a result.

Hundreds of Easter eggs were distributed across nation and local government offices, in depos, in banks, schools etc... and in so many workplaces. Many Christian Workplace Groups organised Easter quizzes with prizes and others had specific celebration events where they were able to invite colleagues e.g., in PwC where they had a choir and in Lloyds Banking Group where they invited a keynote speaker in to talk about AI from a Christian perspective. 

We are unable to add all the pictures and testimonies here but we have received stories of lives changed for eternity as people have explored Jesus and chosen to make him Lord of their lives. It is wonderful that colleagues can slot straight into their Christian family at work to receive ongoing support and equipping.  We thank God that the witness of Christ's followers doesn't stop when Easter celebrations finish. We are with our colleagues every week for 8 hours a day. What an opportunity to continue to love and serve our colleagues and the wider organisation as Jesus would.
