Staging Miracles in Your Workplace
From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is filled with miracles, moments when God's power visibly changed lives and transformed impossible situations. But remarkably, God has always chosen to perform miracles through ordinary people, inviting us to partner with Him here on earth.
Consider Egypt, where God performed astonishing signs through Moses and Aaron. Throughout Scripture, widows, the barren, the sick, even the dead, experienced God's mighty power, always mediated by human hands. God is still performing miracles today, but every great miracle occurs on a stage prepared by faith.
Interestingly, miracles in the Bible often appeared “staged.” People actively created the environment for miracles to happen. Take Mary at the wedding in Cana: she noticed the wine had run out, informed Jesus of the problem, then prepared the stewards by instructing them, "Whatever He tells you to do, do it." Mary's expectation and action set the stage for the miracle that followed.
Similarly, the woman with the issue of blood set her own stage. She believed, “If only I touch the hem of His garment, I will be healed.” Her deliberate act of faith led directly to her healing.
Do you realize that we, too, can set the stage for miracles in our workplaces? God desires to act, but He waits for us to prepare the environment through faith and expectation. Mark 16:20 highlights this clearly: "They went out and preached everywhere (setting the stage), and the Lord worked with them, confirming His word by signs that accompanied it."
This month, consider intentionally preparing your workplace as a stage for God’s miracles. Can you maintain an expectation that God will guide your actions? Can you believe that sharing the gospel will lead someone to salvation? Will you commit to praying for your colleagues, believing for their healing and deliverance?
When we set the stage—presenting our workplace needs to God, acting in faith, and anticipating His intervention—we invite miraculous encounters into our daily routine. God is ready to act. Are you ready to set the stage?
