Eternal Wall

Transform Work recently joined hundreds of others in Coleshill, near Birmingham, to celebrate a really exciting moment—the official start of building the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer. After more than 20 years of prayer, dreaming, and sticking with it, the first bit of ground has finally been broken for what’s set to be the UK’s biggest Christian monument.
Eternal wall Spades

This incredible wall will stand 51.5 metres tall, made up of one million bricks, each one connected to a true story of answered prayer. It’s a simple but bold idea—to make hope something you can see and feel for generations to come.

Around 200 people came along to the site—donors, local leaders, pastors, volunteers, and friends—many of whom have supported this project through every twist and turn. Inside the marquee, the atmosphere was buzzing with chat and hugs, while outside cameras clicked and drones flew overhead. It was a wonderful mix of family warmth and a big public celebration all wrapped in one.

The founder, Richard Gamble, who had the vision for Eternal Wall more than two decades ago, captured the mood perfectly when he said, “This is a day I have prayed for, dreamed of, and worked towards for 21 years.” Eternal Wall, he added, is ‘a living monument, a place where people can encounter stories of faith and be reminded that prayer still changes lives.

We need your Workplace Answered Prayers

100,000 answered prayers have come in for the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer - an amazing milestone. That’s a huge collection of real-life stories, with people sharing their experiences and generous partners getting involved.

They’re now nearly halfway to their big goal of collecting 250,000 answered prayers before the Wall opens. That’s a mountain of miracle stories, all coming together as a lasting symbol of hope and faith.

Making Hope Visible

When people visit the Wall in the future, they’ll be surrounded by these incredible stories of God’s goodness—testimonies that will keep inspiring and encouraging for generations to come.

The stories already submitted come from all over the world. They’ve received accounts of physical healing, financial breakthroughs, marriages restored, prodigals returning home, and countless other reminders that God is still moving today. Every story is a stone in this monument—a tangible reminder that prayer works. BUT what is missing is YOUR WORKPLACE answered prayers.

Transform Work have pledged to provide 1,000 workplace answered prayers for the project. That's just

  • 50 Christian Professional or Sector Groups writing in 10 answered prayers each and
  • 500 Christian Workplace Groups sending in one answered prayer each.

Surely together we could smash this target.

Do you have a workplace answered prayer you can submit to be featured on the wall? We are specifically asking for your answered prayers that are to do with your workplace, rather than general answered prayers.

'We're excited to be gathering testimonies with Eternal Wall via a bespoke testimony page on their website, which will allow us to track our progress towards sharing 1000 Transform Work testimonies, as a resource available to both organisations!

Meet Paul Bulkeley, the Architect of the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer
So many great stories from Paul in this interview. God totally led him from his studies to his career to winning the competition to be the architect for this amazing God ordained project.
