I’m Andy Smith, Ambassador for Transform Work.

Have you ever seen a TV show advertised and thought that was not for you, but then you watched an episode and you were hooked? For me it is the “Repair Shop”. I cannot get enough of it. How they take stuff that looks like it belongs on a rubbish heap and shape and recreate it into something that is even better than the original is astonishing and is a testimony to their years of training and experience.

When Jesus is described as a carpenter, the Greek word is Tekton. An exquisite, master craftsman. If Jesus was around today, He would be in the Repair Shop.

But Jesus is around today and He wants to take our broken lives and shape them and recreate them into something wonderful. We just need to be prepared to place our broken lives into His craftsmanlike hands and leave it with Him to reshape them.
