Adams Belly Button

I’m Andy Smith, Ambassador for Transform Work.

My belly button is a remnant of when I was connected to my mum in her womb when I was developing.

Adam and Eve did not have a mother, so did they have a belly button? Who knows? Who cares? But that Adam sinned and by which sin and death came into the world is really important.

Good parenting advice is to know which battles to fight. Sometimes better to lose a less significant battle and ultimately win the war raising your child with the right values is more important.

Equally in church and other settings, some of the arguments we get into can be unnecessary. Next time you find yourself in an evolving argument just check the perspective and make sure you are not towards the “Adam’s belly button” end of the scale.
